Last month, the Redmi 14, Redmi 14 Pro, and Redmi 14 Pro+ models were officially unveiled in the Chinese market. These high-end models came with significant upgrades and a price-performance-focused experience. So far, the models have only been sold in China, but now they are set to launch globally.
Reports yesterday revealed new details about the Redmi Note 14 4G’s arrival in global markets. Now, the anticipated news for the Note 14 Pro+ has also arrived. Here are the details…
Redmi Note 14 Pro+ Global Version Revealed
A new certification for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ suggests that the series is nearing its release in global markets. MySmartPrice spotted the model in the IMDA database, confirming its upcoming availability outside of China.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ appeared on IMDA with the code “24115RA8EG,” where the “G” denotes the global variant. Unfortunately, the documents do not provide detailed specifications, but it’s likely the device will retain the features of the Chinese version.
However, a rumor from late last month suggested that the global variants of the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ could feature changes to the camera module. While this hasn’t been confirmed, if the rumors hold true, we might see the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ switch the 50-megapixel OmniVision OVX8000 main camera to a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3, and the 50-megapixel JN1 telephoto lens to a 2-megapixel macro lens. Keep in mind, though, that this remains speculative.
What are your expectations for the global version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+?
