Competition was hard, but the developers at GDC 2023 selected the famous title again as the Game of the year
The Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023 kicked off last week. While many companies presented their new games and technologies, the Game Developers Choice Awards were given out in various categories, including Game of the Year. Elden Ring took home the Game of the Year award, while its closest competitor, God of War: Ragnarök, ended the day with three awards.
Elden Ring Named Game of the Year at GDC 2023 Awards!
Last December, Elden Ring had won the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards, amidst fierce competition. A similar situation occurred at the GDC 2023 Awards. The two competing productions left their mark on the Game Developers Choice Awards. Elden Ring emerged as the winner of the day. In addition to carrying the Game of the Year award, the game also won the Best Visuals and Best Design awards.
