Nothing, which arouses great interest all over the world with its transparent design smartphones, offers more budget-friendly products with its sub-brand CMF. New information has also emerged for the company’s first smartphone CMF Phone 1. The design and technical specifications of the device have been leaked.
First information from CMF Phone 1
Nothing recently shared some cryptic images on social media. After that, rumors started to circulate that Nothing is preparing to launch a new smartphone. Although many users thought that this device would be Nothing Phone 3, new details revealed that it could be CMF Phone 1.
The leaked specs revealed that the CMF Phone 1 will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. The device will also feature up to 256GB of storage and a 5000mAh battery.
On the camera side, it is expected to include a 50 Megapixel main and ultra-wide setup sensor. The 16 Megapixel selfie camera will also be embedded in the screen. The plastic-framed phone will ship with Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14.
The design of the smartphone will include the “Nothing Lock” system that will allow Nothing’s exclusive accessories to be attached. This leaked design seems to correspond to the screw shared on social media.
While this information has not yet been confirmed, the leaks suggest that the CMF Phone 1 will heat up the competition in the affordable market. The July launch could put brands like Xiaomi and vivo in a tough spot.
