Voted the best game of 2022, Elden Ring has been on the agenda with a DLC expansion for a while. A new trailer has been released for the package, which will be called Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree. In the trailer, the story and plot of the expansion was revealed.
Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree will be released on June 21st
Originally released in 2022, Elden Ring was FromSoftware’s big breakout hit. The open-world-based production has been intriguing with its DLC pack in recent months. The video released for Shadow Of The Erdtree brought the game back to the agenda.
The trailer focuses on Miquella, Malenia’s sister. Miquella is told the process of developing Haligtree to combat her sister’s Scarlet Rot weapon. In this story, she must face Messmer the Impaler.
Shadow of the Erdtree is set to add more lore to Elden Ring’s extensive mythology. The expansion will launch on June 21st for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-order with digital bonuses. You can buy it for $25.99. Note that this price is subject to change for the Premium Bundle and Deluxe Edition versions of the DLC.
This DLC will be the second major expansion for Elden Ring after the Colosseum update, which added a new arena mode for PvP battles. With Elden Ring’s second anniversary approaching, FromSoftware wants to keep its hit game afloat with additions like this.
