At CES 2025, Roborock showcased its latest smart home devices, with the Saros Z70 standing out as the most impressive. Not only does it offer powerful cleaning capabilities, but it also features an innovative robotic arm that picks up objects from the floor, making the cleaning process fully automated by recognizing various obstacles.
Roborock Saros Z70’s Robotic Arm Technology: A Game Changer
The standout feature of the Roborock Saros Z70 is its AI-powered robotic arm. This technology allows the device to recognize hundreds of different objects on the floor and perform specific tasks for each one. Whether it’s toys, shoes, or other items, the AI algorithm ensures that everything is moved to the correct spot.
In addition to the robotic arm, the Saros Z70 excels with its advanced technological features. The new StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 mapping technology, equipped with 3D ToF and RGB cameras, enables faster and more precise cleaning.
Replacing the Lidar system, this technology ensures more accurate navigation and the ability to detect obstacles with ease. Furthermore, the flexible brush system and mop head allow the device to clean even hard-to-reach areas like corners effectively.
The advanced navigation technology also gives the Saros Z70 the ability to overcome higher obstacles, such as cables and furniture legs, providing a smooth cleaning experience. Additionally, the anti-tangling system ensures that the cleaning process is uninterrupted.
For users who do not want the robotic arm feature, Roborock also introduced the Saros 10R model. This model offers the same technological advantages as the Saros Z70 but omits the robotic arm. Meanwhile, the Saros 10 stands out with its innovative sensor system, allowing it to easily access spaces under low furniture, preferred by those who still want a Lidar scanner.
Availability and Pricing
The Roborock Saros Z70 is expected to be available for sale in the middle of 2025. While an official price has yet to be announced, it is likely to experience high demand due to its advanced features.
