The Era of Personalization Begins with WhatsApp Premium!

Ana sayfa / News

WhatsApp is making a significant change to the interface of its popular messaging app. According to the latest information shared by WABetaInfo, the classic chat bubbles that have been used for years are changing with the v2.2.6.10.2 update released for Android. These bubbles are now giving way to more rounded lines. This innovation, which directly affects the app’s core messaging experience, aims to refresh the visual integrity of the screen.

Meta Takes a Big Step: WhatsApp Premium Subscription and New Design

With this new update, the sharp corners of the message bubbles are completely softened. In addition, the small tail design that symbolizes the chat bubble we’ve been accustomed to for a long time is no longer used. Thanks to the removal of the tail section, messages align much better with the edges of the screen. This eliminates unnecessary gaps on the screen. This step gives the app a much more modern and clean look.

In addition to design changes, another major innovation is on the horizon for WhatsApp. Meta is preparing to offer a special Premium subscription package within the app. This new paid subscription system will offer users a wide range of features. Users will be able to have custom app icons, different themes, and unique ringtones. Furthermore, this Premium package will offer users the ability to pin more chats than what is available in the standard free version.

If you are a registered user of the app’s beta program, you may see a notification at the top of the settings menu. This alert invites you to join the Premium subscription waiting list. Joining this waiting list is entirely optional. Registered users will have full access to these new features on the first day the system is officially released. It is not yet known when Meta, which wants to generate revenue from the platform with billions of active users, will make this Premium package available to everyone.

What are your thoughts on WhatsApp’s new round design for message bubbles and its paid subscription system? Would you be willing to pay for the upcoming Premium package to access more personalization options and themes?
