The GPU-Z program is a very important tool for Windows users to collect information about the video card and see its characteristics. The application, which has been around for years, has finally reached version 2.59.0. The latest update brings support for NVIDIA’s RTX 2000 Ada and RTX 1000 Ada mobile GPUs.
Ada GPUs were announced by NVIDIA in recent months alongside the RTX 4090. The next-generation models are expected to power high-end gaming laptops. GPU-Z 2.59.0 will be able to detect new mobile Ada graphics cards and read their specifications.
In addition to new graphics card support, the update also fixes some bugs that were causing chronic problems. According to the update notes, an application initialization bug caused by an “unsigned driver” when running GPU-Z on Windows 7 or 8 has been resolved.
The update also addresses inconsistencies in GPU-Z’s resizable BAR for certain graphics cards. Resizable BAR was not supported for external graphics cards connected via USB. This led to inaccurate results.
GPU-Z version 2.59.0 will provide more accurate information with these bug fixes and new graphics card support. You can go to this link for GPU-Z free download.
