Embark Studios has released a major new update for their competitive battle royale game The Finals with the launch of Season 3 (3.0.0 update). This update brings a ton of new content and features to the game.

New Map – Kyoto 1568
A beautifully detailed new map has been added inspired by 16th century Japan. Featuring intricate structures, bamboo forests and hidden passageways, Kyoto 1568 promises to provide some unique battle royale action.
New Ranked Mode – Terminal Attack
The ranked ladder has been overhauled with a new 5v5 objective-based mode called Terminal Attack. Teams must battle over control points in strategic attack and defense gameplay. An updated skill-based ranking system tracks your progress.
Season 3 Battle Pass
A new themed battle pass is available featuring over 90 rewards to earn, including legendary skins and 1500 battle bucks. Work your way up the ranks to unlock all the new Japan-inspired cosmetics.
Three New Weapons
Make your mark on the battlefield with the Rewcursive Bow, deadly Dual Blades or the versatile Spear added in this update.
New Gadgets and Tools
Thermal vision with the Thermal Bore or swing to high ground with the Winch Claw – two gadgets join the arsenal.
Text Chat Feature
Finally communicate strategically with teammates via text chat without using a mic.
Career Circuit Progression
A fresh circuits system provides long-term goals with rewards for rookies, challengers, pros and masters alike.
