Apple is preparing to introduce the iPhone 16 series in September. The company, which started the countdown, was criticized for not offering significant innovations with the iPhone 15 series. So what will change in design with the iPhone 16 series? The growth of the screen sizes of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max stands out.
Will the iPhone 16 Pro Max screen be 6.9 inches?
New images purported to be mock-up designs of the iPhone 16 series have leaked online. These images reveal what we can expect from the new devices, starting with the iPhone 16 Pro Max. As previously reported, it looks like the standard models will come with vertical cameras.
The images published on X show mock-up versions of four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The most striking changes were in the screen sizes of the Pro models. Accordingly, the iPhone 16 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch screen and the Pro Max a 6.9-inch screen.
The leaked devices also revealed that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will feature a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display respectively. It also revealed that they will adopt a vertical camera array, as opposed to the diagonal camera setup currently used. These iPhone models are also aimed to gain spatial video support.
When we look at the mock-up images, we see that the Action Button, which is only included in the Pro and Pro Max models in the iPhone 15 series, will be included in the entire new series.
