Xiaomi Begins 2025 with a Bang, Prepares to Launch New Tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite
Xiaomi has had a busy start to 2025, launching the Redmi Note 14 and Poco X7 series globally, along with wireless earbuds, smartwatches, and powerbanks. The company is also gearing up for a new tablet release.
The Anticipated Xiaomi Tablet Will Feature Snapdragon 8 Elite
Qualcomm’s mobile processors power numerous smartphones and tablets. Its flagship processors are typically seen in smartphones, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the current strongest processor, will soon make its way into tablets as well.
According to a new report, a Xiaomi tablet expected to debut in 2025 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, making it the first tablet to use this chip.
While details about the tablet, including its name, are not yet available, it is expected to be called the Xiaomi Pad 8. To complement the processor, the tablet will likely feature at least 8GB of RAM, a high-resolution display, and a battery larger than 10,000mAh.
