Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S23 series was disappointing due to a bug discovered during the beta phase. A key Galaxy AI feature, expected to be included with the update, is not available to users of the series.
Galaxy S23 series will not receive Now Brief
The first beta version of One UI 8 distributed to the Galaxy S23 series devices did not include the Galaxy AI feature Now Brief. This was considered temporary due to the initial phase of beta testing, and it was expected that the feature would be added in the second version. However, the second beta version also did not feature Now Brief.
According to the information received, this feature, which was not included in the first two betas, will not be included in the stable version of the Galaxy S23 series. Now Brief scans Samsung and Google apps, compiles details such as meetings, appointments, and travel plans, and provides users with a summary every morning.
With this decision, Now Brief will no longer be available on Galaxy S23 and earlier models. The feature will only be available to Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 series users. There’s no information on why Samsung made this decision or whether it plans to make any changes in the future.
