Samsung continues to expand its product lineup. The South Korean brand is set to introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge soon. Initially unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, new details about the smartphone have emerged. Here are the details!
Galaxy S25 Edge Battery Capacity Revealed
According to reliable industry sources, the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge will be powered by a 3,786 mAh battery. Considering this, the smartphone will feature a smaller battery unit compared to the 4,000 mAh battery found in the Galaxy S25.
Another key feature of the Galaxy S25 Edge is that, despite being thin, it does not disappoint in terms of durability. The model is known to have a thickness of 5.84 mm, leading some users to wonder, “Will its slim design affect its durability?”
Annika Bizon, one of Samsung’s top executives, recently addressed concerns regarding durability, assuring that the device will not disappoint in this aspect.
Here’s what the Samsung executive had to say about the S25 Edge:
“I can’t share too many details, but I can tell you that the Galaxy S25 Edge has a truly beautiful form factor. And there are two things I want to emphasize. First, it is truly impressive. When you think about the technology packed into such a thin and compact space, it’s remarkable. The second thing I want to highlight is durability.
As with anything thin, durability must always be part of the package. These are the two aspects of the Galaxy S25 Edge that excite us the most. I know durability isn’t the most exciting topic, but it is crucial. So stay tuned for more on durability, because some exciting things are coming with this phone.”
Finally, well-known industry insider Max Jambor has stated that the phone will be introduced in April. This aligns closely with previous reports. If a specific date were to be given, April 16, 2025, seems highly likely for the launch.
