New leaks continue to emerge about Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone, the Galaxy S26. Expected to be unveiled in January 2026, the series is rumored to include three models: the Galaxy S26 Edge, Galaxy S26 Pro, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Recent leaks have revealed important details, particularly regarding the S26 Ultra’s camera features. Here are the details.
Galaxy S26 Ultra Camera Features
According to information shared by leaker Roland Quandt, the new flagship S26 Ultra may come with a quad-camera setup. Previous models featured a triple-camera system, but the new model will feature a new camera lens.
The device will feature a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and a new 12-megapixel telephoto lens. Another leak indicated that the main camera will have an f/1.4 aperture and feature a new HP2+ sensor measuring almost 1-inch. The new 3x optical zoom telephoto lens will feature a 12-megapixel Samsung S5K3LD sensor.
Looking at other specifications, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to use the “Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy” chipset. The battery is rumored to feature a 5,500mAh battery with 60W charging support. It will also feature magnetic wireless charging, similar to Apple’s MagSafe. It’s said to be larger, thinner, and have a rounded-corner design compared to the S25 Ultra.
