The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL model has broken the secrecy!

Ana sayfa / News

Smartphones are with us every moment of our lives; work, entertainment, communication and more. However, the question of how secure a device that is intertwined with so much data is always on our minds. Google’s new flagship, the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, is on the agenda at this very point. Because a study revealed that this device sends user data to Google every 15 minutes.

The study, conducted by cybersecurity expert Aras Nazarovas, shows that the Pixel 9 Pro XL sends Google not only location information, but also critical data such as the user’s email address, phone number and even network status.

Moreover, this data exchange continues continuously in the background without the user being aware of it. According to Nazarovas’ analysis, the device was also found to “check-in” with Google every 40 minutes, sharing information such as connection status, SIM card operator and firmware version.

What’s even more worrying is that the device periodically downloads new code and tries to run it. This can lead to security vulnerabilities. But are we really in control of our phone? Users buy and start using these devices, but Google’s deeply integrated tracking mechanism makes us wonder how much our data security is under threat.

In short, this data-sharing habit of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has once again demonstrated how important privacy is in the digital world. As much as we love technology, it is certain that we need to be more careful about who we share our personal information with.
