In a statement made by researcher Sarah Bax Horton, it was mentioned that Jack the Ripper, during that period, was a cigar maker with a condition known as “sara” disease, which is now referred to as epilepsy. Additionally, it was suggested that the killer had lost his job due to an injury and developed an alcohol addiction.

Furthermore, according to the researcher, newly emerging physical characteristics indicate that the said killer is a man named “Hyam Hyams.” Medical records obtained also provide some descriptions, stating that he was in his thirties, of medium height and build, with bent and twisted walking due to his knees.

The researcher suggests that the reason for the killer’s bent knees is his epilepsy condition. Additionally, it is claimed that a previous injury he had suffered caused brain damage. As a result, the killer is unable to fully control his knees and arm. Alongside these findings, the researcher mentioned that Hyams had attacked his wife on several occasions. He was also arrested after pulling a knife on his wife and mother, whom he believed were cheating on him.

Jack the Ripper is known for killing 5 women by stabbing them and mutilating their bodies. Researcher Bax Horton states that Hyam Hyams, identified as a wandering lunatic, was captured and admitted to a mental asylum in 1889. Afterward, Jack the Ripper’s murders ceased, according to Horton. The police interviewed over 2,000 individuals and investigated more than 300 suspects in relation to the murders. However, they never managed to determine the identity of the serial killer.
