The latest Windows 10 update could break your PC!

Ana sayfa / Windows

Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 in 2025. With close to a year left before the end of support, many users have started to receive interesting complaints. It was found that users with older processors cannot open Windows 10 applications.

The number of complaints on Microsoft forums has increased considerably in recent days. Windows 10 users with older hardware seem to encounter application launch errors. Apps such as Photos, Calculator and Control Panel are giving a “File System Error” warning.

The main source of the problem is unclear for now, but it is thought to be caused by older processors. It seems to be affecting older generation computers such as Intel Core 2 Duo and AMD Athlon X2. Users are reporting that recent app updates have cut support from older processors. This has led to corrupted apps.

Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0 update for the Poco F5 is on its way. What does the new package offer in China?

Some users think that this bug is independent of Microsoft. The fact that Windows 10 runs smoothly and there is an error when logging into local applications confirms this claim. So older processors may be experiencing a compatibility error.

It is not surprising that computers with Windows 7 and older systems have difficulty with Windows 10 applications. Microsoft has not yet made an official statement about the problem, but it is thought that older processors do not handle new updates.

If you have an older PC and are using Windows 10, we recommend turning off automatic updates until a new fix is released. At least you can keep using native apps for a while longer.
