The Lucid Gravity SUV will offer two different charging ports!

Ana sayfa / News

Electric vehicles have continued to gain popularity and diversify in recent years. While Tesla has been a pioneer in this sector, many other companies are now offering unique features. Recently, it’s been rumored that the Gravity electric SUV, developed by Lucid, will come with two different charging options. Here are the details…

As electric charging stations continue to expand, Lucid’s reported move seems likely to accelerate this process. According to a photo shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter), Lucid’s upcoming Gravity electric SUV will support both Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) and the Combined Charging System (CSS).

With dual charging support, drivers will be able to charge their vehicles at either Tesla SuperCharger stations or at stations supporting CSS without needing any adapters. In the photo, the CSS port is visible on the front left fender, while the familiar NACS port is located on the rear left fender.

Although the company has not yet made an official announcement, the presence of the NACS port on the rear and Lucid’s apparent intent to position itself alongside Tesla vehicles strengthens this possibility. In earlier leaks, the Gravity was shown with a single charging port in the initial photos. However, the latest photos reveal this change.

Expected to be Lucid’s second official electric vehicle following the Air model, the Gravity was officially unveiled last November. The vehicle is anticipated to be priced under $80,000, with a range of 440 miles or more.
