Google continues to improve the Android Auto application that makes its cars smart. Thus, the company, which tries to increase the user experience, made some changes to the interface in its latest update. With these changes, the company has expanded the scope of Material You design. So what has changed?
New update: Android Auto gets Material You colours
With the Android Auto 13.4 update, Google has brought the Material You design language, which is widely used in its own products, to cars. With this update, the app’s interface has been updated to match the colour palette you choose on your phone.
Android Auto will now adopt the colour palette automatically generated from your phone’s wallpaper, presenting many system elements such as buttons, toggles, cards and menu backgrounds in the same tones. This will create a more aesthetic and holistic look between your Android device and Android Auto.
Android Auto 13.4 version update has been released for all users. You can check and download it via the Android app store Play Store. However, according to the feedback from users, it seems that the arrangement related to Material You has not yet been fully settled. So much so that there were complaints that the interface showed colours unrelated to the colour palette on the phone. However, Google is expected to solve these problems.
