According to the announcement, with the new feature, when content creators verbally say “Like” and “Subscribe,” YouTube will automatically make the buttons visible.
This will make the platform more user-friendly for content creators. On the other hand, the platform has taken a step to prevent the misuse of the feature. For this, it has set a limit. This limit concerns the duration between the statements made at the beginning of the video by the content creators.
Content creators must ensure that there is at least a three-minute gap between these statements. Additionally, YouTube is working on other features. One of these features is the “fixed volume level” feature aimed at reducing jarring audio differences on mobile devices.
Apart from these, there will also be a feature that allows users to double the playback speed by holding down on a video. Additionally, the platform will introduce a screen lock feature, especially aimed at preventing accidental exit from the video.
Apart from all of these, features such as the integration of the account page with the Library tab and performing song searches with voice commands are on the agenda. With these mentioned features, the company is aiming to provide a more effective user experience.
