Apple has launched its new Mac Studio model, which it introduced as one of its most powerful desktop computers. The device, which is offered to users with prices starting from 100 thousand TL in Turkey, draws attention with its M4 Max and M3 Ultra processors.

However, it turned out that this new model, which stands out with its technical features, is missing a feature found in some of Apple’s other high-end devices. According to the update on the company’s official website, the new Mac Studio model does not support high power mode.
The absence of this mode, which is an important feature especially for professional jobs that require intensive processing power, in the Mac Studio was a big disappointment. Apple showed various versions of the MacBook Pro and the Mac mini model with the M4 processor among the devices that support high power mode.
On the other hand, the fact that the Mac Studio was not included in this list brought to the agenda the possibility that there is a software or cooling limitation despite the device being powerful in terms of hardware. The product will only have low power mode support.
However, the lack of a high-power mode, which is especially important for professional users, may prevent the device from using its full capacity in some workloads. Apple has not yet explained the technical reasoning behind this decision.
