Important news for Galaxy S24 users! Samsung has released a third update for the phones as part of the One UI 8.0 beta program. This new update, released just two weeks after the second beta release, fixes major bugs and aims to improve the user experience. Here are the details.
One UI 8 Beta 3 Update Arrives for the Galaxy S24 Series
The One UI 8.0 Beta 3 update (version number ZY13), released for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models in South Korea, focuses on existing issues rather than introducing new features. The four main bug fixes outlined in the update notes are as follows:
- Fixed the lock screen clock position issue. The clock no longer constantly scrolls down.
- Fixed the issue of “Stretched Font” not being applied.
- Fixed the issue of fonts appearing thin in notifications, status bar, and lock screen PIN entries after the update.
- Fixed the issue of the quick launch icon disappearing from the lock screen during use.
This update is also expected to include the September 2025 security patch to enhance phone security.
If you have a Galaxy S24 series phone enrolled in the One UI 8 Beta Program in South Korea, you can check for the update now. Simply go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Once the update has downloaded, you can update your device by tapping Install now.
