Xiaomi’s Redmi K90 Pro, which will be released in China, will be released globally as the Poco F8 Ultra. Leaked information suggests that the Poco F8 Ultra, which changes the F-series’ performance-focused but compromised camera system, will be the brand’s first device to feature its highest-level camera system yet.
The Poco F8 Ultra is coming soon
The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The camera hardware is expected to share the same specifications as the Xiaomi 17.
The Poco F8 Ultra will feature a 50MP main camera, codenamed OVX9500, from an unknown brand. This main sensor is said to be accompanied by a 50MP JN5 sensor located beneath the periscope lens and an OV50M sensor capable of both selfies and ultra-wide-angle shots.
The new Ultra model also features a significant battery upgrade. The device is expected to have a large 7000mAh battery. This represents a significant increase compared to the 5300mAh battery in its predecessor, the Poco F7 Ultra.
The battery will support 100W wired fast charging. The display is expected to feature an LTPO OLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a resolution of 1.5K/2K. For security, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will be embedded in the display. The phone is also rumored to be IP69 certified for dust and water resistance.
