The popular Xbox game is coming to PlayStation 5!

The release date for the PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 5 has been announced. The game will meet PlayStation 5 players on 29 April 2025 and will come with features such as full cross-play support, visual improvements for PS5 Pro, and early access for Premium Edition owners. However, there is an important detail that may disturb PlayStation users: Microsoft account will be required to play the game.

According to Microsoft’s official announcement, PS5 players will have to sign in with their Microsoft account when they launch the game, which will be paired with their PlayStation Network account. Even players who have previously played a Microsoft game like Sea of Thieves on Xbox or PC and used a Microsoft account will have to go through this process again.

This requirement has caused great concern in the PlayStation community. Possible problems, especially with offline access, have already attracted the reaction of players. In the past, the collapse of the PlayStation Network made games that required signing in with PSN accounts unplayable. If a similar situation occurs for Microsoft systems, there is a possibility that the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5 may also be affected.

The Galaxy S25 Edge may disappoint at some point!

Reliable industry sources have revealed the battery capacity of the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge. Here are the details!

It was also announced that Microsoft will not release a physical version of the game for PlayStation 5. When an account link requirement for a digital game is offered without the option of a physical copy, players are restricted from alternative access routes.

The company, which has previously been criticised for similar mandatory account links, is likely to receive another reaction from the PlayStation community with this decision. So what do you think about this issue? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
