Samsung, which continues its work in the foldable phone market, has made significant progress with its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 models. Although the South Korean brand has not made any official announcements regarding these upcoming products yet, leaked reports provide us with the necessary details about what to expect.
Which processor will power the Galaxy Z Flip 7?
According to reliable industry sources, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 processor. This chipset will feature a 1+2+5+2 core arrangement and will host a 10-core CPU.
To break it down, the setup will include:
- A 3.3 GHz Cortex-X925 core,
- Two 2.75 GHz Cortex-A725 cores,
- Five 2.36 GHz Cortex-A725 cores, and
- Two 1.8 GHz Cortex-A520 cores.
Sources indicate that the new camera features of the Galaxy S25 series may also be available for older flagship Samsung devices with the One UI 7.1 update. The chipset’s graphical load will be handled by the Xclipse 950 GPU, based on AMD’s RDNA 3.5 architecture. Additionally, it’s said that Samsung’s first budget foldable model, the Galaxy Z Flip FE, will be powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset. Finally, it is expected that the Z Fold 7 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
