According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Jeff Bezos is now the world’s richest person with a net worth of $209 billion, while Bernard Arnault is close behind with $208 billion. The difference between these two is just $1 billion. Over the past year, Bezos increased his wealth by $32.4 billion, whereas Arnault’s wealth increased by less than $1 billion.
Elon Musk, known for being the CEO of companies like Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter), has seen a significant decline in his wealth recently. Tesla’s stock has lost 25.63% of its value since the beginning of the year, reducing Musk’s net worth by $28.7 billion. This drop caused Musk to fall from the top ranks of the list.
While Tesla’s stock continues to fall, Amazon’s stock has increased by 28.64%, and LVMH’s stock has seen a 3.61% increase. Here are some other notable wealthy individuals:
- Mark Zuckerberg has increased his wealth by $50.5 billion, placing him fourth.
- Bill Gates is in sixth place with a net worth of $154 billion.
