Margot Robbie will take part in The Sims movie production
The world of the beloved game is coming to the big screen. Kate Herron, creative director of Loki, is in charge of The Sims movie production. Herron will work on the script with Briony Redman to delve deeper into The Sims and bring the experience familiar to players to the screen. The movie will be backed by Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap production company.
The Sims movie will also include a collaboration with EA. EA will be involved in the creative and production process, but it is not yet clear exactly how much authority it will have. When the producers of the original work are not involved in an adaptation, the reviews can be negative (see Avatar: The Last Airbender)
