DxOMark, the prominent authority in the smartphone world, has announced the smartphone model with the best camera. As you know, Huawei Mate 60 Pro Plus was at the top of the list. Honor takes the crown for the best camera smartphone
Honor has been drawing attention in the smartphone world with its camera features lately. After separating from Huawei, the company has invested more in this area and started to reap the rewards. In this regard, Honor Magic 6 Pro has become the smartphone model with the best camera.
While DxOMark isn’t the only criterion for camera quality, it provides important data on whether a smartphone has a good camera. Previously, Mate 60 Pro Plus topped the list with 157 points. It is followed by Oppo Find X7 Ultra with the same score and Huawei Mate 60 Pro with 156 points. The iPhone 15 Pro Max ranks fifth on the list with 154 points.
Honor Magic 6 Pro, declared as the smartphone with the best camera, is leading in three categories besides its main camera. Accordingly, the Magic 6 Pro is also a leader in terms of its front camera, display, and battery. As you may know, Honor introduced its new flagship model, the Magic 6 Pro, at MWC 2024.
Honor Magic 6 Pro’s camera is quite capable. In this regard, in the DxOMark report, the Honor Magic 6 Pro stands out with its accurate toning, fast focusing, and good video performance in bright light conditions. However, the report also highlights some shortcomings such as distortion in audio playback, distortion in loud video recordings, and lack of stability in video recording with the front camera.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro camera seems to hold the DxOMark summit for a short while. Although the model has significant features, the expectation is that the Magic 6 Ultimate Edition will rise to the top of the list. Especially, the OmniVision OV50K sensor in the Magic 6 UE model will provide significant advantages.
