Skoda is preparing to introduce the fourth-generation Superb model in November. Like its previous generation, the new Superb aims to be competitive in the D segment with its updated design, increased dimensions, and advanced technologies.
The new Skoda Superb will be unveiled in November
The new Superb will be offered with three petrol, two diesel, and one plug-in hybrid engine options, ranging from 150 to 265 horsepower. For the first time, the Superb model will be equipped with a mild-hybrid engine, and the plug-in hybrid version will provide a zero-emission range of over 100 kilometers.
With the new engine lineup, all Superb models will come with a DSG automatic transmission. One significant change in the new generation is the relocation of the gear lever to the steering column, allowing for more space in the center console area and providing additional comfort and storage space.
Additionally, the intelligent solutions, a signature feature of the brand, have been further enhanced in the new Superb model, with a total of 28 smart features. Among these are a tablet holder integrated into the rear center armrest, dual storage compartments on the back of the front seats for secure placement of items like smartphones and magazines during the journey, and an electrically controlled luggage cover in the Combi version.
The new Superb will also greet the updated design language of the brand, with both sedan and Combi versions aiming to stand out with a more aggressive lighting design at the front and rear.
The interior of the new Superb has been refreshed with user-friendly manual controls and touchscreen digital controls, ensuring better compatibility. The new infotainment system, which can be chosen up to 12.9 inches, meets the demands of the present-day conditions.
The new Superb maintains its wheelbase while appearing longer and taller than the previous generation. As a result, the headroom for all passengers has increased, and the luggage capacity reaches 645 liters for the sedan and 690 liters for the Combi.
