Having received rave reviews for its first season, Fallout is preparing to premiere its new season. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on December 17th, sometime this year. Amazon has intensified its promotional efforts for the second season, which premieres on December 17th, and released a new trailer yesterday.
Fallout is Coming with a Second Season
Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy are producing the series. True to the game series it’s based on, the series begins in the Vault, an underground bunker. Lucy (Ella Purnell), at the center of the story, leaves the Vault and finds herself facing the perilous face of a post-apocalyptic world.
The new season picks up where the first season left off. This time, Lucy travels through the barren and harsh landscapes of the Mojave, striving to reach New Vegas, a prominent settlement.
This journey will also feature the New Vegas region, a crucial location in the game series. Lead actress Ella Purnell, along with Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner, return to the roles they played in the first season.
As the characters struggle to survive in the dangerous outside world, the audience emerges from the safe havens of Vault life and learns the rules of this new world created in the wake of the nuclear holocaust.
