Samsung, which produced 59.5 million smartphones last quarter, was the brand that sold the most models. Analysts think that Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy AI features attracted attention. In this context, Samsung seems to have succeeded against its biggest rival Apple.
Apple came second with 47.9 million iPhones produced. The company’s sales declined in China due to the rise of competitors like Huawei. HarmonyOS usage in China even surpassed iOS for the first time in history.
Chinese brands dominated the rest of the ranking. Xiaomi ranked third with 41.1 million shipments, while Oppo (including Realme and OnePlus) came in fourth with 33.8 million devices.
