YouTube Music has introduced a swipe feature for iPhone users, making it easier to switch between songs. Previously launched for Android users, this feature allows seamless navigation on the “Now Playing” page. Here are the details…
iPhone users can now swipe left or right to change songs on YouTube Music
Previously, changing songs required tapping buttons at the bottom of the screen. Now, you can swipe the album cover left or right to move to the next or previous song. This feature, which has been available to Android users for a long time, is now finally available for iPhone and iPad users. The swipe gesture provides a larger touch target compared to buttons, making it especially useful when driving. The swipe feature is available in YouTube Music version 7.04 for iOS.
Additionally, YouTube Music has yet to release the Recap for the March-May period. The Recap for the December-February period was delayed until early April. Hopefully, this time it will be released sooner.
Meanwhile, the “Hum to Search” feature, which allows users to identify songs by humming or singing the melody, was introduced for Android users last month but has since been retracted. This feature enabled users to identify a song by humming or singing it.
In addition, the web app of YouTube Music now includes a feature that remembers the last song and queue when returning. This new swipe gesture for iPhone users by YouTube Music will make song transitions even easier. What do you think about these new features? Don’t forget to share your comments with us…
