Although Samsung has promised 6-7 years of update support for its recently released smartphones, older models unfortunately won’t benefit from this. The company has ended the update support for some of its earlier models. So, which models are affected?
Samsung Ends Support for Galaxy A02s, A12, and W21 5G
Samsung has officially discontinued update support for the Galaxy A02s, Galaxy A12, and W21 5G. These models, which were launched in previous years, will no longer receive software updates as they no longer fit within the brand’s new strategic plans.
There may still be exceptions in certain cases. For example, if a security vulnerability is detected, the brand may release a one-time update to address the issue. However, aside from such exceptions, users should consider the end of updates for these models.
