As updates are released, support for some devices comes to an end. The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra might have received their last update this time. Here are the details of Samsung’s August 2024 security update…
Galaxy Note 20 Might Receive Its Last Security Update
Before 2024, Samsung had promised four years of security updates for its devices. The Note 20 series, introduced on August 5, 2020, has now reached four years. Although Samsung continues to release security updates, the August 2024 security update could be the last one for the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.
The software version ending in HXH1 has been released in the U.S. for now and addresses 50 vulnerabilities. Of these, 35 affect all Android devices, while 15 are specific to Galaxy devices. Additionally, the Galaxy A33 received the update in Brazil with software version A336MUBSAEXF2, which has a file size of 275MB.
The tech giant, which hasn’t neglected updates for the A series, also released the August 2024 security update for the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52s. The updates, with software versions A525FXXS8FXG3 and A528BXXS9GXG5 respectively, have been rolled out in European countries.
The update for the Galaxy S20 FE, with software version G781U1UESIGXG1, is available for download in the U.S. Since updates vary by region, your device may not have received it yet, so you may need to wait for it to be released.
