Microsoft has recently brought important features to Windows 11 with its artificial intelligence-oriented updates. However, speculations about Windows 12 have also increased recently. A concept designer brought these claims together and created a Windows 12 mobile version.
What does the Windows 12 mobile version look like?
A new concept video posted on YouTube imagines what the mobile version of Windows 12 will look like. Considering that Windows 12 is not officially out yet, it is possible to say that the concept video is adapted from Windows 11.
In the concept video, Windows 12 has a user interface optimized for smaller screens. Key Windows features like the taskbar, Start menu, widgets, Microsoft Store and File Explorer have been redesigned for one-handed operation.
The concept video is inspired by the vision of Windows evolving into a platform that spans desktop, mobile and Xbox. It also shows that Microsoft could return to the mobile world with a Windows-powered smartphone.
Of course, the likelihood of a real Windows 12 Mobile is very low. Microsoft opted to exit the mobile hardware business after Android-based devices like Windows Phone and Surface Duo failed to gain significant market share.
While concept videos have been successful in stimulating user enthusiasm, Microsoft has no plans to revitalize Windows Mobile.
