Apple hasn’t even released the iPhone 15 series yet. Nevertheless, leaks of the iPhone 16 series, which the company will release a year from now, have started immediately. The company will allegedly catch up with the best Android camera phones next year by finally offering a 5x zoom camera.
Right now, only the iPhone 15 Pro Max has it. Next year it will be on the entire iPhone 16 family!
While the feature is currently limited to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the leak suggests that the camera will be on the entire iPhone 16 lineup next year.
Digital Chat Station, a well-known leaker from Weibo, claimed that the entire iPhone 16 series will have a 5x zoom camera, instead of just the Pro Max model. If you want a better long-range zoom but don’t want to spend a lot of money on the Pro Max phone, you can wait for the iPhone 16 family.
The leaker also claimed that the iPhone 16 Pro models will have a 48 MP main camera sensor. This is not a surprise, but we guess those of you expecting a 108MP or 200MP sensor, as seen on some Android phones, might be disappointed.
Otherwise, Digital Chat Station suggested that the phones will have the same overall design and Dynamic Island. The leaker also cited industry predictions that solid-state buttons will make an appearance.
It wasn’t even announced at the unveiling: iPhone 15 family RAM specs revealed!
Either way, it looks like you’ll have more options next year when it comes to an iPhone with long-range zoom capabilities. What do you think? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
