Samsung is continuing the rollout of its One UI 7 update and hasn’t neglected to include important security patches along the way. The South Korean tech giant has now released the May 2025 security update for three of its popular models.
May 2025 Update Now Available for Galaxy S25 Series
The latest devices to receive the May 2025 update are the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. The new version is being rolled out to models in Europe and is approximately 700 MB in size.
Firmware Versions for Galaxy S25 Series:
- Galaxy S25: S931BXXS3AYDA
- Galaxy S25+: S936BXXS3AYDA
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: S938BXXS3AYDA
If you haven’t received the update notification automatically, you can manually check for it by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update still doesn’t appear, it may not have reached your region yet, so you might need to wait a little longer.
