Despite entering the mobile market only in recent years, Nothing has made a name for itself with its impressive smartphones. The brand is set to expand its product range soon, with reliable industry sources revealing the first details about the new models.
Nothing’s New Affordable Phones Revealed
Known for its leaks, AndroidAuthority spotted new Nothing smartphones in the Nothing OS 3 interface code: Nothing Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Plus, and CMF Phone (2). These products are respectively codenamed ‘asteroids’, ‘asteroids_plus’, and ‘galaga,’ and the first technical details about them have emerged.
According to the shared information, both the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. Manufactured with a 4nm architecture, this chipset includes 1x 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, 3x 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, and 4x 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores, along with an Adreno GPU.
Details on which processor the CMF Phone (2) will use remain unclear for now. However, sources expect it to feature a MediaTek chipset, similar to its predecessor.
