Microsoft announced its latest games at the Xbox Games Showcase event today. It also unveiled new versions of the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. The three new consoles are aimed at the holiday season.
Refreshed Xbox Series X/S versions presented
The most important announcement among the three consoles was the 2TB version of the Xbox Series X. The Galaxy Black version of the Series X, which will be available in limited quantities, will be available with a metallic color option. It will be sold for 599.99 dollars in the US and 649.99 euros in Europe.
Series S, the affordable version of Series X, has gained a new color option. Accordingly, Microsoft will release the Series S console in an all-white design for the first time. The Xbox Series S Robot White 1TB version will retail for $349.99 in the US and €349.99 in Europe.
Xbox Series X is also getting a digital version with a white chassis. The Xbox Series X 1TB Digital Edition, which will retail for $449.99 in the US and €499.99 in Europe, will not include a disk drive. This saves gamers the cost of a physical disk.
Microsoft said it will continue to sell the standard black 1TB Xbox Series X. However, the black Series S is limited to stocks. In this context, players are advised to pre-order soon after the sales start.
