Thunderobot Mix G2 steps beyond Asus with RTX 5090

Ana sayfa / Computers

Thunderobot has confirmed its compact gaming rig, the Mix G2, is going global. Designed to compete with the Asus ROG NUC 2025, this mini-PC brings a key upgrade Nvidia’s RTX 5090 laptop GPU. That edge alone makes it a standout in the increasingly crowded high-end mini-PC scene.

Launched in China in November, the Mix G2 didn’t go unnoticed. Packed with Intel’s Arrow Lake HX CPUs and up to 64 GB of RAM, it’s built to handle intensive gaming and creative workloads. But the real kicker is its GPU. While Asus tops out at the RTX 5080, Thunderobot pushes further by offering the RTX 5090, which benchmarks about 17% faster.

The fully loaded version lands at around $3,546 in China. It’s not cheap, but for what it delivers, it doesn’t have to be.

Tesla now offers a 10-year Model Y battery warranty for $2,000 with a $500 deductible, extending coverage beyond its usual 8-year limit.

Here’s what the international version of this mini-PC is expected to feature:

This kind of performance in a portable shell opens the door for serious gamers and creators who need power without the bulk.

While the top-tier RTX 5090 variant is confirmed for international markets, there’s no word yet on lower-end models. Versions with RTX 5070 Ti or Core Ultra 7 chips might remain exclusive to China. That would be disappointing, especially for those looking for performance on a tighter budget.

Thunderobot will officially unveil the Mix G2 to a global audience at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The reveal will also include the debut of the Zero Air gaming laptop, which hasn’t even launched in China yet. As competition heats up, Thunderobot seems ready to challenge the big names beyond its home turf.
