TOGG, Turkey’s leading automobile manufacturer, has accelerated work on its new model, the T8X. In addition to this new model, the company plans to expand its presence in European markets. TOGG Chairman Fuat Tosyalı and CEO Gürcan Karakaş shared important information about both the new model and its European goals in statements made at the IAA Mobility 2025 trade fair.
TOGG T8X to be officially unveiled
Following its successful launch in Germany, TOGG is now turning its attention to France and Italy. Fuat Tosyalı stated that the five-star ratings for the T10F and T10X models in European safety tests (Euro NCAP) will increase the brand’s popularity.
CEO Gürcan Karakaş stated that the German market was their first choice because it is the largest and most competitive market, and that success in this challenging market is of paramount importance to them.
TOGG is also continuing its preparations for battery technology. Gürcan Karakaş announced that work is ongoing on the next-generation LFP (Lithium-Iron-Phosphate) battery chemistry and that they are collaborating with leading global companies in this field.
Karakaş emphasized that battery technology is rapidly evolving and that TOGG will continue to access the best resources to keep pace with this change. This approach means TOGG will be able to offer more affordable and efficient battery options in the future.
Karakaş noted the 2.5-year period between the T10X and T10F, stating that they aim to launch the new T8X model much sooner. Thanks to developing technologies and TOGG’s “learning organization,” the T8X is expected to be on the market approximately two years earlier than planned.
