Toyota is recalling thousands of vehicles in North America due to a very interesting problem. While companies normally recall their vehicles due to engine or mechanical problems, Toyota invites certain vehicles to service due to a label problem that no one would ever think of.
Toyota invites more than 33 thousand vehicles to service due to label problem!
As you know, thousands of vehicles are invited to service by manufacturers every year due to certain production problems. Problems that usually occur in the engine and mechanical parts make vehicle owners suspicious. However, Toyota is coming to the agenda with a completely different problem this time.
Toyota, which has recalled a total of 33 thousand 848 vehicles in North America due to incorrect load-carrying capacity labels, reports that the problem covers 22 models from sports cars to pickup trucks. The problem, which originated from the Texas-based beylik group Gulf States Toyota, caused many vehicles to be put on the roads with incorrect load-carrying capacity.
Toyota, which has determined that the problem needs to be fixed by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration rules, has listed the offending models as follows:
- 2023–2024 BZ4X
- 2025 Camry Hybrid
- 2024 Corolla
- 2023–2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid
- 2023–2025 Crown
- 2024 4Runner
- 2023–2024 Highlander, Highlander Hybrid
- 2024 Grand Highlander, Grand Highlander Hybrid
- 2023–2024 GR Corolla
- 2024 GR86
- 2023 GR Supra
- 2024 Land Cruiser Hybrid
- 2023–2024 Prius, Prius Prime
- 2023–2024 Sequoia Hybrid
- 2024 Tacoma, Tacoma Hybrid
- 2023–2024 Tundra, Tundra Hybrid
- 2023–2024 Venza Hybrid
The company, which plans to send notification letters to vehicle owners by September 16, invites 33,848 vehicles to its services to have the necessary labels changed. What do you think about this production error? We are waiting for your opinions in the comments.
