Ana sayfa / News

Toyota is set to launch its first electric vehicle with an autonomous driving system next year, but initially only in China. According to Reuters, Toyota will introduce the Bozhi 3X SUV model in 2025. What advanced features will this vehicle offer?

The Bozhi 3X SUV, developed by Toyota, will offer advanced driving assistance for parking, highway driving, and navigating urban traffic. To develop this system, Toyota has partnered with Momenta Global, a company that also provides software to giants like Mercedes-Benz.

Additionally, Toyota plans to release an iron phosphate lithium battery between 2026 and 2027, which will reduce the production cost of the current bZ4X electric vehicle by 40%. However, Toyota is not rushing to transition entirely to electric vehicles. In May, Toyota collaborated with Mazda and Subaru to produce hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines, demonstrating a versatile approach.

Tesla surpasses Toyota! Here’s the world’s best-selling car

Discover the groundbreaking achievement of Tesla: the Model Y has become the world's best-selling car, surpassing Toyota.

Last year, Toyota showcased several new electric vehicle prototypes ahead of the Japan Mobility Show, including the Land Cruiser SE, which seats seven, and the EPU: Electric Pickup, which boasts a range of over 400 miles.

This announcement comes just two months after Tesla received approval to launch its Full Self-Driving technology in China. Tesla is working with Chinese tech firm Baidu to provide navigation support and lane-level mapping services.

With this move, Toyota highlights the rapid development of autonomous driving technology and electric vehicles. The Bozhi 3X SUV, set to launch next year, will be an exciting step in Toyota’s sustainable transportation goals.
