Google’s email service, Gmail, is coming with new features for its users. Recent developments have revealed that a feature will be introduced to make users’ tasks easier. Additionally, Google’s Gmail service will include a translation feature. Here are the details!
Google introduces translation feature to Gmail!
Google offers its users the Gmail service as an email platform. Gmail currently has a translation feature in its web version. However, considering the current conditions, Gmail is widely used on mobile devices as well. Given this situation, the absence of a translation feature in the mobile app was a significant gap.
With today’s developments, the biggest shortcoming in Gmail is being resolved. According to recent news, Google has announced the translation feature for both the iOS and Android versions. With this feature, the Gmail app will automatically detect the language of the email content.
After detection, a tab will appear at the top of the email, allowing the user to translate it into their preferred language. For example, if an email is in Spanish and you want to read it in English, simply tapping the “Translate to English” option will be sufficient.
As the feature becomes available to everyone, when you open an email, the translation option will appear in the three-dot menu. Furthermore, according to the announcement, the translation feature will be accessible for up to 15 days. However, it is already available in the Android app starting from today.
