Trouble again: Tesla recalls 2,431 Cybertruck vehicles!

Ana sayfa / News

Tesla’s electric vehicle Cybertruck, which has made a lot of noise all over the world, is on the agenda with a serious problem, even though it is still new on the market. According to the statement made by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on November 13, Tesla started recalling 2,431 Cybertruck models. So, why are the vehicles being recalled?

First of all, the reason for this recall is the drive inverter failure detected in some vehicles. A faulty inverter can cause the wheels to lose driving power, which poses a significant risk to driving safety. For this reason, Tesla took action to quickly inspect the vehicles and fix the problem.

Cybertruck was launched with great anticipation as Tesla’s first electric pickup truck and became popular all over the world with its introduction in 2019. This is not the first malfunction for the vehicle, which started its first deliveries in the US towards the end of 2023.

Cybertruck killer BYD Shark revealed

The BYD Shark will be unveiled in China this week. What does the global market-oriented electric pickup promise?

With a total of five different recalls so far, Cybertruck is one of Tesla’s most recalled models. Among these recalls, there are also other technical problems encountered in some production stages. But fortunately, Tesla has a good habit of solving problems quickly. Therefore, we can say that customers are not victimized much.

Cybertruck, which we had the opportunity to examine in Turkey recently, also draws attention with its different versions released to the market. The rear-wheel drive model of the vehicle is available for sale at $ 60,990, while the more powerful all-wheel drive version is $ 79,990 and the “Beast” version with the highest performance has a price tag of $ 99,990.

Tesla plans to launch the all-wheel drive and Beast models by 2024, while the rear-wheel drive model is expected to go on sale in 2025.
