During the WWDC 23 event, Apple shared initial hints about the next-generation operating systems and released the first beta versions a few weeks ago. Now, after approximately three weeks, the second beta versions of these operating systems are available.
tvOS 17 and watchOS 10 second beta versions are now available to the public
Following the release of the second beta versions for iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma on July 31st, Apple has also made the second beta versions for tvOS 17 and watchOS 10 available to the general public. The second beta version for tvOS 17 and HomePod software is coded as 21J5318f, while the second beta version for watchOS 10 is coded as 21R5320i.
For watchOS 10, Apple focuses on making smartwatches more user-friendly. With the new operating system, certain applications make better use of larger screens. Additionally, a new widget view is accessible from all active watch faces, among other improvements. The application list also appears in a more well-organized format.
The tvOS and HomePod updates bring some significant improvements as well. In tvOS 17, the Control Center is made more prominent. Moreover, FaceTime is now available on Apple TV.
tvOS 17 introduces new screensavers and the option to Find My Remote on television sets. Furthermore, HomePods can now be activated with the phrase “Siri” instead of the previous “Hey Siri” wake command.
Apple aims to provide customers with a much better user experience through these new operating systems.
