Twitter seems to be testing accountless use

According to a statement from Elon Musk, anonymous logins were suspended to prevent “data harvesting”. The company, which made the decision after Twitter’s APIs became paid for, wanted to prevent unauthorised harvesting of content on the platform.
Some reports claimed that Twitter had not paid for Google Cloud. Musk, who did not pay the bills on time, had to cut off access to the Twitter application. However, it is unclear whether Musk is trying to turn the crisis into an opportunity or is simply trying to cover his deficit.
Finally, it was noted that Twitter was slowly reopening for use without an account. The platform, which began to show some tweets to anonymous visitors, has yet to make an official statement on the matter.
