Valve warns of incredible wallhack cheats in CS2

Ana sayfa / Games

Counter-Strike 2 is facing a new cheating issue. It turns out that some users were able to enable the wallhack by entering a command into the in-game console. Valve didn’t stay silent about the new exploit and quickly fixed the command bug.

The cheating shared on social media has been an ongoing problem since CS2’s release last summer. Players have often encountered cheaters following them through walls or firing highly accurate shots.

Normally, such cheats require the installation of third-party programs. But a new exploit in CS2 made it possible to cheat through walls without any external software. Simply typing the command showed the location of all players on the map.

Responding quickly to social media and Steam posts, Valve released a 1.2MB update for CS2. With this update, the code that enables the wallhack command has been disabled.

Valve is asking players who encounter bugs to report them. The company asked people who encountered the bug to send them an e-mail.

CS2 was recently on the agenda with an error in an e-sport tournament. In a Counter-Strike 2 tournament organized by the Professional Gamers League (PGL), the player’s computer crashed at a critical moment. It was stated that the computer crashed due to an NVIDIA driver error.
