New details have been shared for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. The thriller RPG game to be published by Paradox Interactive has turned into a disappointment for the company. Accordingly, Paradox seems to have realized that it is not an expert in the role-playing game genre.
Situations are critical for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
The final details about the game developed by The Chinese Room have emerged. Accordingly, feeding will be a fundamental part of the game. Players will take on the role of Phyre, who needs a regular amount of blood to keep their powers and impulses under control.
Feeding will also act as the primary healing method in combat and will allow players to use their vampiric traits. Although necessary for survival, feeding will need to be done secretly. In other words, NPCs will attack players caught feeding.
Paradox Interactive hinted that it could sell the series to another studio if Bloodlines 2 is successful and makes enough profit. However, if it does not provide the expected income, the fate of the series remains unclear.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, previously distributed by Paradox Interactive, was postponed indefinitely. The events within the company seem to have negatively affected the course of the game.
Paradox said in its statement, “We made this decision to achieve our goals. We believe such a change is necessary. This means more development.” Let us remind you that the game’s initial release date is 2021.
