Sam Altman praised Vision Pro in a post on X. He said that he considers it the second most impressive technology innovation he has seen after the iPhone. The OpenAI CEO said that Vision Pro has the potential to be as effective as the iPhone over time.
The $3500 glasses are currently only available in the US. It allows users to interact with digital content in the real world using eye tracking and finger gestures. According to Altman, this represents a big step forward for the way people use technology.
On the other hand, it should be reminded that there is ChatGPT support for Vision Pro. Users have been able to download the app through the VisionOS App Store since last week. It is possible to use ChatGPT by speaking instructions or showing problems to artificial intelligence through the glasses’ camera.
Elon Musk, on the other hand, did not find Vision Pro enough. In his post last week, he stated that he tried Vision Pro, but the glasses “did not impress” him. He criticized Vision Pro’s long-term experience.
