The Android phones are getting more and more day by day. The popular phone manufacturer vivo will officially launch its new S-Series devices, expected vivo S17 and vivo S17 Pro, with great specifications. According to the latest leaks, the upcoming vanilla vivo S17 has appeared on the Geekbench listings with Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. Vivo S17 will reportedly have a 12GB RAM option
While there are no official details about the upcoming phones, we can see that the basic S17 is likely to have a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, according to a listing on Geekbench. In the listing, it is shown that the chipset has 4x 1.80GHz, 3x 2.40GHz, and 1x 2.52GHz CPU cores. Additionally, the phone has 11.04 memory, which will be officially 12GB of RAM.
The vivo S17, which appears as the vivo V2283A, was claimed to have the “lahaina” chipset, the Snapdragon 888 series, now it seems that the phone will be powered by the 778G+. According to the expectations, the phone will run Android 13 out of the box.
On the other side, the official social media account shared some posters about the details of the vivo S17 Pro camera. The official vivo page announced that the phone will have an LED flash, two front-facing flashes, and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, it will probably have a portrait camera with a 2x telephoto zoom. Moreover, there will be a “super-sensing spectral sensor” for a better color option.
Of course, these details are just rumors and leaks. That’s why we should wait for the official announcements from vivo. The company will launch the devices on May 31, which is two days later.
